The company was founded in Maine by Michael Pelletier, who spent over 30 years building it into one of the largest and most trusted painting companies in the state. His approach was simple: take pride in the work, treat every home with respect, and never cut corners. That mindset earned the trust of thousands of homeowners and businesses and even led to projects as prestigious as painting the governor’s mansion.

 

Four years ago, Michael began training his brother in law Ryan, who moved from New York to Maine to learn the business from the ground up. Over those years, Ryan gained hands on experience in every part of the company from preparation and production to customer relationships and project management. He did not just learn how to paint, he learned the systems, standards, and values that made the company so successful.

 

In 2024, Ryan got married and decided to return to New York. Not wanting to leave behind everything that had been built, he approached Michael with an idea: bring the same proven model to a new market.

 

In 2025, that vision became reality.

 

Clean Cut Painting Company NY was formed as a 50 50 partnership, combining Michael’s decades of experience, systems, and team with Ryan’s local roots and leadership as Operations Manager. Together, they set out to bring the same level of quality, professionalism, and trust that defined the Maine company to homeowners and businesses across New York.

 

Today, we proudly serve the Southern Adirondack Region, Capital Region, Mohawk Valley, and Hudson Valley. We specialize in both residential and commercial interior and exterior painting, with a strong focus on proper preparation, clean execution, and long lasting results.
